Update or change your email settings in Outlook for Windows

If Outlook stops responding at a screen that says "Processing," you can close Outlook, start it in safe mode, then close it and open it normally to fix the problem. Close Outlook. To date, Microsoft has released very few tangible dates as to when customers should expect the current Outlook app to be replaced by the new updated Outlook client.
